You guys cannot into tier system. What's up with all S-F tiers? The whole point of it is to cram bunch of items into one tier. Otherwise you might as well rank them all in the usual list manner. Except for epty tier(s) to show just how far those other games down below. That's at least kinda fun even though you can still name them tiers like A B C and then G or something. Or just name like garbage tier etc.

Anyway, to me it's rather pointless endeavour as how on earth would you compare BG1, MDK 2 and Anthem? But even Anthem which I assume barely anyone played anyway aside I'd say it's pretty hard to compare older party based cRPGs with ME action/RPG games, they're quite different.

I looked up what this retarded expression is that you keep using and this is what I found:

It looks like it originated as a running joke in an internet comic. It's intentionally written in broken English and mocks Poland for being technologically underdeveloped.

So I guess I approve.

On topic:

Man, DA2 is shit. I've played for 90 minutes and I was doing nothing. Watched a bunch of cutscenes and followed a couple corridors engaging in banal MMO type combat. Most of the lore is rehashed from the first game (so far) and dialogue is worse due to voiced protagonist and that shitty mechanic where he doesn't say exactly what you select that witcher also uses. I hate that shit and because of that even the dialogue feels like watching a movie, or shitty netflix series rather, with pauses.

Overall big downgrade from DAO so far, I'll keep playing a bit more obviously but unless it starts getting really good soon I'll uninstall.

Well, DAO's been in development for almost 7 years. DA2 - less than a year or something. Keep playing :)

It only gets worse from there. You're playing the part they didn't have to rush out the door.

Also if you're considering the next game, as bad as 2 is it's a masterpiece compared to Inquisition. Voiced protag with even worse voice acting and writing, even more meaningless C&C, even more boring MMO mechanics, even worse lore full of absurd retcons.

uninstalled DA2 after close to 4 hours played. I found myself disinterested in the writing and annoyed by the shoddy game design, playing it felt like wasting my time. Everybody ranking this in the trash tier is about right.

Now imagine them doing 10 times worse with years of devtime and tons more money. And Dreadwolf's gonna be an even bigger shitshow than Inquisition.

All too many Codexers need to be reminded that Bioware was decline from the start, beginning a path of decline in writing, setting, and presentation that inevitably led to Baldur's Gate 3, but without the compensating factors of decent gameplay. :M

BG1
BG2
KOTOR
DA: Origins
SW The Old Republic (Class stories only)
ME1
NWN (hated there was no party, decent otherwise)
Jade Empire
ME2
ME3

Those are the only ones I've played and finished. Tried DA2 for literally 2 minutes, when I seen the waves of enemies spawning from nowhere and that it was popamole, dumbed down beyond all recognition, I was out.

EA really did live up to their reputation of ruining studios by forcing them to chase trends, I imagine they are looking at BG3's success and lamenting their lack of vision. Just kidding, there's no way they are capable of the introspection required to do that, they'll just call for more focus groups full of retards and chase the next 'visceral' experience.

BG2 is great, BG1 is very good, Kotor 1 was alright for its time but has aged horribly, Dragon Age: Origins was kinda crappy but awrite compared to whatever the sequels were (and probably has aged better than Kotor), I suppose NWN and ME1 are better than all their newer shit (can't recall a darn thing about Jade Empire). The new shit is all complete garbage.

BG1, BG2, NWN. The rest ranges from middling to shit.
:hahyou:

The main OC may have been underwhelming, but the groundwork that NWN laid out for countless expansions and excellent modules cannot be dismissed.
Thing is, we're ranking games not software platforms. If we're talking about what it enables others to build, Bethesda is one of the greatest devs of all time.

So imo you have to rank it based on the OC in a list like this, not the toolkit. And the OC is assssssss... really the only thing that keeps it out of F rank is I like build porn.

If we keep this up, we're gonna reach a point where "Looking Glass Studios was decline from the start"...
Early Bioware was good for what it was. The decline came after the success and renown, as is often the case.

Compare BG to Pool of Radiance. It has better UI and graphics and sound, but the gameplay and storytelling were massive decline. That's what a decade of technological progress achieved.
