Okay then, stupid ass, give me ONE logical explanation on how they could post that TODAY if they hadn't known about it for a LONG time, especially being that the XBox 360 is a closed system. You opened your mouth, now put your foot in it.

It's quite obvious it's all an elaborate scheme. They knew that the Xboxers, upon finding out that they were required to take an extra 5 seconds to hold down a key - would immediately spring into a rampage and vow not to buy Oblivion, destroying all their Xbox sales. So Bethesda hatched this evil plan to only inform them of this grueling process of button pressing on the release day.

I don't think it was Bethesda, Tintin, it was Bush and his Big Oil Buddies (BOBs). He used his stolen war criminal powers to force Bethesda to withhold the information because George Bush Doesn't Care About Console Gamers.

I'd give Morrowind pretty low, considering really the only thing I enjoyed was just wandering around. I hated the quests, the dialogue, and combat. Now, given those things are the bread and butter of CRPGs, you kind of have to give it a low score when walking around is more fun than playing.

That said, here's some more fucked up Oblivion things I noticed in the stream. What's with the instantaneous, HUGE blood splats that just poof on to the ground when you hit someone? Hell, even Sacred did a better job than that and it's two years old and wasn't a game that was built around it's graphics. Considering how few monsters and such are on the screen at once and how the only thing you're looking at is the model of your weapon, you'd think they could handle a bit more blood effect than just POOF! Blood on ground! It just looks goofy.

What's worse is that the blood splatters on the ground seem to be about the only way you can tell you've damaged the bad guy. There are no other indications. Even blood decals on the people you're fighting would be nice. BUT NO! There is no real feedback there.

I really like the fact that you can pick up inanimate objects and instantly get quests for them where you know exactly where to go. Huh? Howzat? Even that TV show John Doe, where the show was built around the idea that the lead character knows every single fact about the world, wasn't that hokey.

It was kind of interesting that the guy playing mentioned how hard the game was because he was only doing the main quest. However, if the monsters level up with you(which was dumb), he's going to be in for a real treat when he starts doing side quests thinking he'll be more powerful for the main quest stuff.

I changed my mind. The streaming video was actually worse than my low expectations. Like Sheek said, the animations are AWFUL. Everything from the combat animations to when people are talking are all just utterly pitiful. The lips didn't even sync up with the words, which is kind of something as leading edge as Oblivion is supposed to be probably should do considering even dated KotOR could do that.

The combat didn't look very interesting at all. It was the same old flailing around melee you kind of got used to in Morrowind. It's kind of funny how most developers figured out that melee works better in third person five years ago, but Bethesda can't quite figure it out. I did enjoy when the guy flipped to third person for a bit and then said it looked better in first. It really does, because the player models movements don't sync up with the movement along the ground - "skating".

I changed my mine about Saint Proverbius, I thought he was clever enough to handle and manage a website but after reading this post I have only one conclusion : what a dumbass!!

He has an opinion on graphics because of the low-res gamespot footage...
He has an opinion on fight without playing without using a keyboard. (looking his idiot post I am pretty sure he got a PS2 pad link to his Dell'desktop)

Please buy also a brain when you will buy your CE Saint.

Hate to break it to you kid, but that streaming footage is the actual game. You can't start up with that "OMG NON OPTIMIZED!!!!111oneone" bullshit anymore.

Oh, and low-res my ass. I've seen low-res footage of many games that still looked great.

And the resolution of the stream affects the animations how?

Oh yeah, I'm sure the game is RADICALLY different on a PC.

Please buy also a brain when you will buy your CE Saint.

I'll run right out and get one as soon as I decide to pull my cock out of your mouth.

Obviously, the footage is not the actual game, but some old and probably illegal beta. The action game is like totally awesome!

check this link there are others links with some screenshots and better resolution video.

You mean the better resolution video of the guy making the black character who looks like he's wearing cake make up for white people.. Which looks exactly like it does in the stream from GameSpot? FUNNY!

And yeah, the animations still suck. They would suck in a low resolution stream just as much as they'd suck in a high resolution stream. Why? Because the resolution of the stream has no effect on the movement of the models. None. Dumbass.

if you still say the graphics suck you are just like all the RPG Codex crew : graphics whores kids.

Yes, they still suck. Why? Because older games do a significantly better job at many things such as the splatters, facial animations, and combat animations which aren't even geared for first person. If you're wanting to go first person, you actually have to do a better job at these things than third person and isometric games because everything in first person is going to take up the entire screen.

watch a movie kiddie.

Move your mouth closer to the TV. I'm still not ready to pull out yet. Now, use that tongue a little more, baby. Yeah. Like that. Mmmm. You're a champ.

Erm, graphics and animations are two different things. How do I explain this to you?

I don't care about low-res graphics. Like I said Oblivion any single 'frame' of the game looked pretty good to me in the streaming footage. Maybe that's because I don't play modern games or whatever but whatever, I'm not going to complain about that.

I think Saint is probably the same. It's not resolution we're complaining about but the quality of the graphics. You can have excellent resolution, photorealism, shaders and all kinds of fancy 'next-gen' shit and the game still looks bad (as Oblivion has proved)...

Stop spreading lies just because your envious of xenos. All you have to do is hold the A button when the game boots to fix the problem. It also doesn't effect all xbox 360s.

Sheesh, now were you too simple minded to read that or do you just like misrepresenting things to look popular?

Probably the fact I'm the only one that said "ghost town", which you referenced in your three link post.
