This is as fake as the whole OUYA's kickstarter updates. It just need Brian Fargo to comment about it and it's done.

Investors pulled out after Google's announcement of Stadia: https://www.pcgamesinsider.biz/news...ionable-following-google-stadia-announcement/

Future of Slightly Mad's Mad Box console "questionable" following Google Stadia announcement

Project CARS developer Slightly Mad has said that the future of its Mad Box console is in doubt after losing some investors.

Speaking to PCGamesInsider.biz, online marketing director Nathan Bell said that the hardware project had lost two of its investors in the wake of Google announcing its Stadia streaming platform. As a result, Mad Box's future is "questionable".

"Google's announcement of Stadia hasn't helped the project with our investors," he said.

"We had some solid investment lined up but Google saying 'the future of gaming isn't in a box' hasn't done us any favours."

He continued: Two investors pulled out after the announcement of Stadia. All I can say at this stage is the future of the project is questionable."

Furthermore, there are on-going discussions inside the company about what to call its hardware. Slightly Mad filed the trademark for 'Mad Box' with European IP body in January 2019 but a French casual games company called Madbox opposed the trademark due to the likelihood of confusion between the two brands. As a result, Slightly Mad has withdrawn its application for the trademark.

"It could well be called something else, yes," Bell said.

"Discussions are still on-going internally as to the naming of the console."
