Phase-based (?) game (aka Breach & Clear is cool)

"Breach & Clear is a turn-based strategy action role-playing video game developed by Mighty Rabbit Studios and published by Gun Media. The player is in control of four special forces units who must enter an area and kill all enemies in it."

Anybody knows of more game where it's not so much "turn-based" but "phase-based" where the action is simultaneous and is "planned" not "executed" by the player? I don't know if I'm explaining it well. Here's a video of the gameplay:

Phase based combat was one of the core mechanics of Mechajammer (Copper Dreams), and I believe Grandia was the inspiration for it.

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
It seems a pretty rare game mechanic. I personally plan to use such a system in my project (that I don't claim will ever come to fruition). I love this stuff in general even though I do not like that most games like this feel very arcadey

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Broken Lines is quite decent.

I wouldn't say Mechajammer is phase-based in its final iteration. More like real time with automatic pause.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Bubbles In Memoria
Someone already mentioned BSG:DL and Starhammer: Vanguard Prophecy.

There's also TASTEE: Lethal Tactics.

Mare Nostrvm, which is about ancient galley battles.

Qvadriga, from same developer.

Combat Mission- series

also Phantom Brigade

Darkwind: War on Wheels. It's an MMO but you can play it as a single-player game (albeit you need an internet connection). Janky but addictive.
