Reviwer likes good story and dialogues, but blaims the linearity, simplicity, and repetitive combat.
All of wich is true, though I don't find the battles easy at all and so boring

I still play ToEE just for the fantasy TB combat, so I'll probably play this too. Silent Storm gave me such a boner.

You should pick H&S instead.

Well, if I had to choose then, yeah, I'd pick Hammer and Sickle over it. But with all the ph47 l3wt I made over the summer, I'll be able to pick up both of them and even Fable, if I am so inclined to.

Yay. :)

Well, what I've written above kinda summararises it all.
An average product, while, having Nival in mind, we expected something much more spectacular... which leads to expected disappointment.
It does have it's merits - some people do like it, after all. But, anyway, it's rather short and not really an RPG - while it has it's share of dialogues but they does not really mean anything. No matter what you select - usually the story will progress in the same way.
Judge yourself.

BTW, DS2 got 63% on the same resource (AG.ru).
So, if you kidna liked DS2, and loved SS - then you can happily buy it and play away :).

While the demo was very short, it clearly showed that the game will be extremely linear. I am not quite sure if you could even visit again previous mission areas. The combat was not very inspiring either, at least compared to the tactical depth of SS. And I am wondering what computer configuration I need in order to run the game on high visual preferences.

I downloaded the Russian demo and even though I cannot speak any Russian to any degree, I will say this: If it comes in NA, I will get it.

Who cares if it's a linear hack 'n' slash? TOEE was and it was superb. And if I wanted to play an indepth tatical-RPG, I'd get Hammer and Sickle (Which, btw, you can bet your asses I am! :D).

Well, I agree, when it comes comparison between H&S and NW, H&S wins hands down.
But if you have enough money to buy both - go for it ;).
However, play NW first - othervise, you may get too disgusted to play it after you play H&S :).

Of course, I have to wait for them to come out in English first. D'oh!
