I played this on the hardest difficulty, using a barbarian that used two two-handed weapons. He obliterated everything.

Back then Champions was the only game on consoles that came somewhat close to the Diablo experience. By the time it came out I had already put hundreds of hours into Diablo/D2 but I still had lots of fun with it and put plenty of hours in. I think that means somethin. I'd like to revisit it again and see how it holds up. Also yeah it has some big knockers in it.

From what I have seen Steam always quotes in the currency of the country but I dont think the prices are always the same. I just checked now and Dark Alliance 2 is R175 which converts to $11 in US currency and $13 in Canadian currency

So I could buy this game for $13 Canadian and gift it you. Is it $37 Canadian on Steam for you?

And all you could produce is cheap softporn C-movie level crap. Even Xena and Hercules look like AAA production in terms of aesthetics compared to the crap he showed. Personally I do not care about chainmail bikini. To me it always looked stupid. That is not to say that you cannot look sexy in armor.

Here is a good example how to look sexy and have at least semi functional armor:

While not 100% functional still offers decent protection to vitals while looking sexy and tasteful.

Anyway I just finished Dark Alliance couple of days ago, It is a very bare bone port but I bought it the supports the developers so they can remake Champions of Norrath.
Will eventually pick up darker alliance II but when the games go to sale because they are asking too much for 20 something year old game.
