This is the comments thread for <A HREF="/gamedetails.php?id=16">Witcher, The</A>

A cRPG based on the books of one of the best Polish fantasy writers - <a target=_blank href=http://www.sapkowski.pl>Andrzej Sapkowski</a>. You play the role of a witcher - a beast slayer for hire in a fantasy world. The game is based on <a href=http://www.rpgcodex.com/companydetails.php?id=5>BioWare</a>'s Aurora Engine.

I tried sending this to news@rpgcodex.com and proverbius@rpgcodex.com , but both were "users not found", regardless of the fact that they were linked to from the main page. Anyway:

The Witcher seems to have a publisher (distributor?)...

...for Europe and Asia.
According to CD Projekt (http://www.gram.pl/news.asp?id=2448), ATARI Europe is going to "promote and distribute" The Witcher. As I don't understand the whole corporate mess, I'm not sure if this means Atari is the publisher...

Further funding for Temple of elemental evil would have been nice! Along with contracting Troika with further modules for this engine, while giving them enough time to flesh out each module with some decent role playing.
