  1. The Codex of Roguelikes

The possible character build combinations are almost endless and the items you loot add lots of Diablo-like build inspiration. Do NOT look up guides if you want to play this, figuring out the game-breaking stuff is a big part of the fun. Here’s a recent experiment: The Koszmar race (which is...
  2. The Codex of Roguelikes

To add to this: If you want to be a necromancer behind 9000 skeletons, this game has it
  3. The Codex of Roguelikes

I’m really enjoying this one. Balatro + Caves of Qud.
  4. KickStarter Monomyth - A first person action RPG/dungeon crawler - now in Open Backer Beta

Early impressions after 4 hrs, props to Geno for the key: Exploration and level design is fantastic, lots of interconnected paths and shortcut unlocking. Very atmospheric. Music has an early computer RPG feel when I get to hear it (Ultima Online theme springs to mind -...
  5. KickStarter Monomyth - A first person action RPG/dungeon crawler - now in Open Backer Beta

I’ll take it, I’ll actually test it and post notes.
  6. Incline The City of Heroes Thread

Brutes are only better at single-target damage atm. Tanks are better (damage-wise) in every other situation due to the increased radius and target caps. If that's what I wanted I would just play scrapper.
  7. Incline The City of Heroes Thread

You're giving him bad advice about brutes. They got gutted recently, I wish it wasn't the case. Their damage caps were lowered while tanks got buffed. Brutes are mostly redundant now. I never told him to take the boosts, I just said that you will skip most of the lower-level content with the XP...
  8. Incline The City of Heroes Thread

Just made a 5th column-inspired villain if anyone wants to play noob redside content. I've never done redside stuff before so it's a breath of fresh air. Contact Leutnant Sturmwolke if you wanna party.
  9. Incline The City of Heroes Thread

It’s optional, if you want double XP you can get it from the premium vendor whenever you want for free. Maximum 8 hrs double XP, most people just take it right away to get their power sets online ASAP
  10. Incline The City of Heroes Thread

Thunderspy has lots of new costume options added by the community as well as power sets. It’s also far more codex friendly in the sense that you can make a Colonel Sanders mastermind with custom slave minions and the other players would high five you for the idea. On HC you would get banned...
  11. Incline The City of Heroes Thread

Every so often I’ll hop in and spend an hour or two creating new characters, what a great game
  12. Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

This one's from 2 weeks ago. Don't forget to take those goal posts with you: Dark Souls combat mechanics were great in Dark Souls 1 before they added the anime moves.
