  1. Review Gothic 3? Play Oblivion instead!

Gothic 3 is still an unfinished product. As much as i love it, i can't help saying it's the most frustrating gaming experience i've had. And that's why it should be bashed to oblivion. Oblivion.... i also played Oblivion. But it bored me after 3, 4 hours of play. No point developing a...
  2. Review Gothic 3 review at Softpedia - 9/10

Tried the game today and, bugs and technical glitches aside, i'm really enjoying it. The world feels alive and that's something every rpg aspires to achieve. As you've all heard, combat is really difficult to master but i guess it can be done... I was so deep in to it i forgot to save my...
  3. Hello and some praise to Bethesda

    Nice post Grandpa!
  4. What makes a good RPG?

Gameplay, immersion... Everything else is overrated.
  5. D&D Stormreach 7-day trial

I've been playing it for a few hours. Can't say i love it... Well... It plays like Tombraider, the quests seem fairly linear, there's not much interaction between you and the world.. hmmmmm...... got to check on you later for some more info. Despite it's obvious flaws, i'm having some fun...

Such control over the npc's, together with the "paused combat" makes it Baldur's Gate on 3d.

Have you watched the videos? It's Baldur's Gate 3. Instead of re-doing Neverwinter Nights with an enjoyable single player experience, they've added Neverwinter Nights 3d, multiplayer and mod-making to Baldur's Gate.
  10. Preview Night Watch first look at GameSpot

Oh, sorry.. I was talking about Hammer & Sickle: the game does not get much better than the demo. That's why I doubt this one will be any good. But I'll be trying it anyway.

The full game doesn't get much better. Sadly..
  13. Preview Night Watch first look at GameSpot

The screenshots look great and, from what i've read, it seems it could turn out a good, solid game.. But i'm still recovering from Hammer & Sickle...
  14. Preview JA3D prefun at Hooked Gamers

The Bear's Pit: http://www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/ It seems the developers are abandoning turn-based gameplay and implementing the "smart-pause". Another great franchise killed....
  15. Review KOTOR 2 gets a beating

Thanks.. I agree with you, it could have been a classic. And it's a shame it didn't work out better than an "ok" game.
