  1. Best Ultima game

Been playing this as well and really enjoying it. I bought DS just to play this. Still have never played DS and have no intention of doing so.
  2. Singleton???

Do a web search. They probably can be ordered from places like Amazon or some of the cd clearing houses or even EB.
  3. Common Misconceptions about DRAKENSANG

Seriously ? If so, please expand.
  4. Common Misconceptions about DRAKENSANG

This whole thread reminds me of similar arguments before Lionheart was released. Most especialy the ' okay , we're including a pause feature for the retards who can't keep up, but you shouldn't have to use it much.' As with Lionheart, this tells me that I will probably not like the game...
  5. FIFE - a cross platform isometric game engine

Look's fabulous. What is it going to cost?
  6. Review GameBanshee reviews Arcanum

Yes they can and you are in for a real treat. Only problem is that once you play these you will realise what crap the newer consoly crpg's are.
  7. Interview Drakensang interview at RPG Dot

Here is the real shame - When I see those screen shots of purty graphics, I think of Bethesda and other pretty 'games' which are barely games at all. Also, the 50% combat is somewhat worrisome. Talk a little, walk a little oohing and ahhing at the purty graphics and fight ,fight , fight, pausing...

I love the graphics. They are like reading an old book or looking at photos from late 18th and early 19th centuries. They help create an atmosphere appropriate for the dawn of technology.
  9. Top 10 role-playing games

Nothing really dies, it just changes form. And by the by, I have a very special name tag for you, but it's up your mamma's ass. I'm sure you are quite familiar with how to retrieve it.

  11. Top 10 role-playing games

    I'm slow, but I'm sure.
  12. Top 10 role-playing games

I really liked the Daggerfall's system as well. Also, I found the backstory and world to be fairly interesting. I thought it all added up to great potential for future games in the series. Was massively disappointed with Morrowind and have not and will not buy Oblivion. Too bad Daggerfall is not...
  13. Wow, success inspires all sorts of things

Doesn't D2D install a bunch of intrusive anti-copy shit? I considered buying stuff off them before but the prices are ridiculously high (sometimes only about $5-10 off store prices). Yup,but no starforce.
  14. Wow, success inspires all sorts of things

I downloaded it from direct2drive and have been having a blast with this game. There is a lot that is not immediately obvious or easy to master and I appreciate this. Some thought is required no matter which of the several careers or paths are chosen.
  15. Fallout Fallout 2 is boring

"Vault Dweller: Quote: Creators of MW and OB had DF to look at - a shiny fucking example of good FP RPG design. All they needed was to play the fucking game and take some notes. " Jezuz! I love that quote. It sums it all up for me.
