  2. Duke Nukem Forever officially vapourware!

I suspect that Take Two wouldn't trust 3drealms to deliver on time and on budget. Would you? Besides, it's been 12 years, it's not like the majority of devs who worked on Duke 3d would still be working on DNF, so what difference does it make?
  3. Duke Nukem Forever officially vapourware!

  4. Editorial IGN presents the history of Fallout

A Fallout fan did not write that article. Ron Perlman narrated Fallout Tactics as well, if I recall correctly.
  5. Blizzard Not Milking Starcraft 2 Buyers

Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? Why should they sell if for one game, when the masses will pander to *them*? Nay, I say that they should sell it for 5, 6 no 7 games!
  6. Fallout 3 - Codex Opinions Thread

One other thing - there's a lot of cock teasing in the game as well. The set up in Megaton is almost the same as that in Junktown in FO1 (between Killian and Gizmo), and the dialogue practically bends over backwards to suggest that there will be some key confrontation between Simms and Moriarty...
  7. Review Chefe does Fallout 3 @ the Codex

A decent first effort overall that hits on many of the strengths and weaknesses of the game, but obviously with many possible areas of improvement. I agree with some of Marsal's arguments on the first page - the game's ending needed to be addressed because the manner in which it was handled was...
  8. Fallout 3 - Codex Opinions Thread

Right, just finished the game. You know that thing they said about 200 endings? GODDAMN WHAT A SCAM It seems that you get a set of slides and a few lines of narration based on your karma (i.e. you succumbed to the vices of the wasteland or not) and a few based on your final choice in relation...
  9. IGN love Fallout long time

They take it home and make it fishbowl soup. http://au.media.xbox360.ign.com/media/8 ... ids_1.html 9.6 eh? That must have been some blowjob.
  10. Editorial The Brainy Gamer studies Fallout 3: Will it be 'Fallout'?

Re: The Brainy Gamer studies Fallout 3: Will it be 'Fallout' Killing brahmin?
  11. Lucasarts and Bioware announcement

It's coming. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3170784 woohoo, here we go. Although, if it's a MMO I will lose interest very quickly.
  12. Blizzard: Please buy Starcraft 2 three times

According to Blizzard's official site, the later two parts are called 'expansions'. Presumably this entails a lower price point. If you're getting the content of a full game with each installment, I don't see the problem. The real problem with Blizzard right now is how they seem to be fucking up...
  13. Pete Hines leaves Bethsoft.

Now why would he move somewhere else when he's got the perfect scam going right now?
  14. Midway makes The Suffering freeware.

fuck yeah, I love free shit. DL'ing now!
  15. Flagship bites the dust

They tried to do both an ARPG and MMO in the same package, and failed at both. The campaign had an idiotic fan-fiction story that completely destroyed any of the atmosphere they managed to build up through the setting as well as through the visuals and cutscenes. Repetitive environments. Bugs...
