Disjunction - cyberpunk pixel art action-RPG

I hear a Dream Web sound in the music. Kinda reminds me of that game. Cyberpunk lunatic on a murder spree...

Difficulties with starting a new game

I think its this. In the past few months I've started Alien Isolation and Witcher 2 and just couldn't bring myself to get through the forced tutorial/prologue chapter. I eventually did with W2, but I just uninstalled Alien. I'd rather consult the manual or keybindings to find the nuances, 99% of...

Great list and effort. Can someone link me to the rules or describe how the voting went? I scanned all 19 pages but i'm still confused how points were distributed.

    What's a good baby's first blobber?

Why in gods name are they called "blobbers"? I would call them Dungeon Marches :) I would highly recommend Grimrock Good puzzles, not terribly hard or obscure Not an overwhelming amount of combat It has an automap, which is a good option for beginners You don't have to check every wall for a...

    Sci-fi RPGs

Two nights ago I came across Space Rogue, which looks like Origin's prototype for Privateer. Looks like you fly around, do some quests and get to explore space stations. Maybe it's not exactly an RPG, but a space adventure with some fighting mixed in. Sounds like a winner to me. It's in my queue...

    Wizardry The Wizardry Series Thread

I don't think you need to download anything to get to compatibility mode for windows 7. Right click on the executable, select properties and go to the compatibility tab. For the record, W8 works fine on my Win7 install. No compatibility options selected. I see that there is a patch in my...

    The Video Game Music Thread

I've always loved the Ultima 7 soundtrack, which is I think the compilation of a few of the previous ultimas' best tracks. The Ultima 9 soundtrack has some of the same songs, just redone for modern soundcards.

    Dreamweb - Worth playing?

One of the few games I've played through more than once. Great sound & music. And it was violet for the time, but i dont think that really holds up relative to newer gorier games. I would definitely give it a shot. At least play witha walkthrough

Unofficial patches: are they worth it?

The times I've used fan-made patches (TOEE, Arcanum, Bloodlines and STALKER) I've always been suspicious of whether the thing that I didn't like was part of the original design or added in later. For that reason alone I decided that the next time I play a first-run, I'm going to do it...

    What is the WORST cRPG?

I'll put another one in for Descent to Undermountain. You can actually take damage for running down stairs, which i guess in anywhere else but gaming is pretty realistic... Also, Gold Box Pool of Radiance and Vampire: Redemption were pretty bad. I'm still trying to get through Redemption...
