  1. Incline Of the Big Three, which is your favorite? (Fallout, PS:T, Arcanum)

Name-calling. Duh I don't remember any sense of urgency or purpose to the game
  2. Incline Okay let's be real here... Which games can never be RPGs?

I didn't forget it. Thought that case was included implicitly
  3. Incline Okay let's be real here... Which games can never be RPGs?

If it doesn't feel like an strategy game or the player character doesn't move regularly then it's not an rpg
  4. Incline Of the Big Three, which is your favorite? (Fallout, PS:T, Arcanum)

Out of all three, Fallout's got the money. No contest Planescape Torment's just a book. Should be compared to other books. I don't think people care about it in the book world Arcanum is nowhere near as cohesive an adventure as it should be. It's got a bunch of things going for it, but they...
  5. Why is Fallout New Vegas considered good?

  6. Why is Fallout New Vegas considered good?

Fallout New Vegas is a well-written, creative game. Same thing that made Fallout 1 good imo

An RPG is just a strategy game where you spend a lot of time listening to some fictional character's bullshit So, if a game lacks the strategy or the bullshit, it cannot be an RPG.
  8. Incline Games for gentlemen

I recommend Invisible Inc, The Witness and NEO Scavenger
  9. Yet Another Morrowind Thread

Been playing this game... I don't wanna say anything bad because clearly a lot of effort went into it. Does the story/writing become good at some point? Caius Cosades just sent me to Fort Buckmoth
  10. Anime Your Unpopular Gaming Opinions

People have not yet figured out videogames. They are all varying degrees of bad, except for Braid and The Witness. Jonathan Blow is miles ahead of every other developer because his games are the only meaningful ones. Role playing and strategy are actually the same thing. That's the answer to...

  13. Share your "I am not playing" list

I don't care much for violence these days. No guns, no attacking humanoid characters, no gore. Also 2D side-scrollers make me claustrophobic. Linearity in general. Puzzle games feel like a lot of work too. Realistic or dark games are too depressing Guess I'm waiting for mindless 3D...
  14. Arcanum and Morrowind are still unsurpassed
